About Kaushik
A teacher shaped by great teachers.
Kaushik began the piano at twelve with Ajit Ghosh, then studied with Sam F. Engineer, Revd. Noel S. Sen and Fauzia Marikar.
He earned a degree in Music Pedagogy from Hochschule für Musik Würzburg in Germany, a Max Mueller Institute of India project, and took master classes in piano and chamber music at the Ameropa Piano Festival 2017 in the Czech Republic with international teachers such as Jana Chaudhury and Libor Nováček.
After 25 years of teaching, he still says his students have been his biggest inspiration. He teaches privately, one to one, at a fee that keeps the piano within reach of every family that loves it.
“Piano transcends beyond one instrument. It represents an entire orchestra.”
